When a classic ballroom meets vibrant summer colors, Ashley and Kyle's wedding design and inspiration came to life in a breathtaking display of elegance and joy. Nestled within the lush landscapes of Nemacolin Resort, this sought-after venue provided the perfect backdrop for a weekend celebration that was as fun and effortless as the couple themselves. The guest experience was at the top of the list ensuring their closest loved ones would have an unforgettable experience. With a shared passion for travel and exploration, Ashley and Kyle envisioned their wedding day as a delightful blend of sophistication and exuberance, reminiscent of a polished dinner party infused with the warmth of summer.
The first look further proved these two couldn't hide their mutual love and adoration for each other even if they wanted to. We love when couples choose to have this moment; everything around them slows down, fades to the background, and they have a beautiful encounter alone. Ashley and Kyle's eye-gazes and uncontrollable smiles set the tone for the day.
As guests arrived to the ceremony at the Chateau Gardens, they were greeted by a warm summer breeze and the sweet sight of blooming flowers, setting the tone for a celebration filled with laughter and love. This also their first introduction to the vibrant color palette as the invitation did not include an indication of the punchy colors in store.
The bride had a very specific color palette in mind—vibrant pinks and radiant oranges that echoed the essence of summer. These hues danced throughout the floral arrangements creating a lively atmosphere that was both fresh and inviting. However, in our quest to create balance and timeless elegance, we continued to soften the bright colors with luxurious champagne tones and smalls pops of black, ensuring that the overall aesthetic would remain sophisticated and enduring.
The custom seating chart display and custom bar were the stars of cocktail hour. We always like to give guests something visual to talk about as they buzz around the pre-reception. The branded statement pieces did not disappointed and the caricature artist provided fun keepsakes. The bar offered a personal touch with signage and cocktail napkins featuring their adorable dog, Tillie.
The reception was a visual feast, featuring gorgeous and lush floral centerpieces that were beyond captivating. The mix of table styles with varying centerpiece heights drew the eye upon entering the room. Tonal linen and napkins, delicate gold accented chargers, and personalized menus created the perfect tabletop details. The whole evening encapsulated their love story and their zest for life surrounded by their closest friends and family. With every detail thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed, the day was a perfect blend of fun and sophistication, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
